Good Day,
I need your help. The KIPP Academy Charter School has an application to expand by over 1,000 students. This would be devastating to our schools and students. We would potentially lose over 34 Million dollars from our budget. KIPP has historically attacked Lynn Public Schools and Teachers when testifying for expansions. We need to stand up and speak out against the negative image they paint about our schools and educators. Lynn teachers are among the best and are utilizing innovative and hands on techniques in their classroom. We need to brag about the teaching and learning happening in our classrooms.
So I need you to show up at the November 14th City Council Meeting at 7:45 p.m. and at the hearing to be held in December, date to be determined. I need your pictures, videos, and stories of success.
